OVERSEAS COUPON PROGRAM
This is a STARFLEET sponsored project that gathers manufacturer's coupons to send to servicemen and their families to help with the high cost of living at many overseas bases.  Bases extend the expiration date of these coupons by 6 months.  It is a small effort that means a lot to our overseas servicemen and their families.

Library Book Drive for Corpus Christi SST
The School of Science & Technology, an independent school for gifted students, opened a branch in Corpus Christi in Fall 2009 with a completely bare library.  The Crew of the U.S.S. Joan Of Arc has donated several cases of gently-used books and continues to do so.  We have also assisted in getting the school set up on a donation program with Half Price Books
Another important "mission" of the U.S.S. JOAN OF ARC is our firm belief in building the foundation of the wondrous world we see in Star Trek through various charitable efforts and events.  Our Crew has taken Gene Roddenberry's "Let Me Help" philosophy to heart in these efforts.

We have recently teamed up with
DoSomething.org to further these
efforts and are being generously
supported by them in return.

KEDT TeleAuction
Almost every Spring since 1993, the U.S.S. Joan Of Arc has assisted our local PBS station, KEDT-TV, with their annual TaleAuction to raise money for programming and other expenses.  Primarily, we assist with answering phones and taking bids, but those that are camera shy have also helped in other areas, such as bid number registration and support.
